Laser CME is a comprehensive 5-hour training designed to help medical professionals renew their Georgia license, which is now required every two years, while enhancing their skills and knowledge. The course covers updated laser physics, safe and effective treatment methods, and includes hands-on laser training. Participants will also receive a 3D skin analysis to compare their skin age across eight categories. Course Overview
Laser CME, or Continuing Medical Education, is a training that helps medical professionals maintain their current license status but also helps to increase skills and knowledge.
The state of Georgia license renewal is now REQUIRED EVERY TWO YEARS (On your birthday).

(5) “Cosmetic laser services” means nonablative elective cosmetic light based skin care, photo rejuvenation, or hair removal using lasers or pulsed light devices approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for noninvasive procedures and includes energy based medical procedures using an ultrasound, cryolipolysis, microwave, or radio frequency device that is not expected or intended to remove, burn, or vaporize the live epidermal surface of the skin, but may damage underlying tissue if used inappropriately. Dr. Lori Martin
Dr. Lori Martin, MD graduated with honors in Biology and Chemistry from Georgia State University. She earned her Medical Doctorate from Ross University and completed her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Since 2011, Dr. Lynch has specialized in functional medicine, weight loss, aesthetics, and regenerative medicine. Trained at renowned institutions like the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American Center of Anti-Aging Medicine, her focus is on regenerative and anti-aging treatments. Is a License required to operate ANY energy based technology?
Any practitioner operating any energy based technology like, cool, sculpting, cryo-, ultrasound, radio Radio frequency, micro needling and more ALL need to go through Laser Training.
Why should I take ASI laser training if I do not live in Georgia?
Georgia is a licensed state for laser practitioners, so obtaining a laser license can make you a more competitive job candidate. Additionally, laser training shows initiative and dedication to your profession, which employers value regardless of your state.
When do I need to do my CME credits to renew my license?
Every 2 years on your birthday you have to renew. So I would plan to take classes a few months prior to expiration.
